Immunity Boosting Ingredients

These immunity booster shots are full of ingredients with amazing health benefits. Even better – you can drink them everyday to boost not only your immune health, but also aid your digestive health. Let’s take a look at some of the great ingredients.

  • Garlic is a miracle food. Not only does it help boost your immune system, it can reduce high blood pressure, lower bad cholesterol levels, has antibiotic properties, can help prevent cancers, and may even help with the prevention of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. In short – eat your garlic!
  • Ginger is excellent for your digestive system and is a powerful immunity booster. It is also a known antimicrobial, and great for treating inflammation. In general, you are looking for about 1 teaspoon of ginger juice for each shot.
  • Ginseng can help boost your immune system and fight infections. The roots, stems and leaves of ginseng have all been used for improving resistance to illness or infection. It can be purchased as a whole plant, just the root, a powder, or as a tea.
  • Oregano essential oil is known for its healing and immune-boosting properties. It fights infections naturally due to its antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-parasite compounds.
  • Vitamin C foods like citrus fruits – lemons, oranges, grapefruits – improve the health of your immune system by providing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Getting enough vitamin C in your diet may help reduce the symptoms of respiratory infections and shorten the duration of illnesses like the common cold and bronchitis.
  • Beta-carotene rich foods contain powerful antioxidants, helping reduce inflammation. The richest sources of beta-carotene are yellow, orange and red fruits and veggies, along with leafy greens. Try adding the following foods to your immune boosters: carrot juice, red bell peppers, Apricot, Kale, Spinach.
  • Green tea contains powerful antioxidants. It works as an antifungal and antiviral agent and may be helpful for immunocompromised patients. Drinking green tea daily will help strengthen your immune system.
  • Black pepper has an abundance of health benefits: High in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It has shown benefits for brain health, including potential benefits for degenerative brain conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. It may also lower bad cholesterol levels, promote gut health, boost the absorption of nutrients, and even possess cancer-fighting properties.
  • Turmeric contains a natural polyphenol called curcumin, which has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. If you suffer from arthritis and other joint disorders, try adding turmeric to your diet.
