Inspiration

Available online or in select supermarkets, Ras El Hanout is a complex and aromatic spice blend that can be found in various forms across North African countries including Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. You can also visit the Epicurious website for an actual recipe if directions are your thing. There is no standard blend, so feel free to experiment with some of the less common ingredients, including rose petals, star anise and lavender flowers.
